Why SVCH?

St. Vincent Charity Hospital has sponsored the development of the Center for Bariatric Surgery, the largest multidisciplinary program of its kind for the surgical treatment of morbid obesity in Northeastern Ohio. Since its inception in 1997 the surgical team has performed more than 6,500 gastric bypass procedures. The program has attracted patients from Europe, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia, Alaska, Oklahoma and Arizona.
