Follow-up CareOnce your cancer treatments have been completed, your medical oncologist will continue to hold regular follow-up appointments with you. Your doctor (Oncologist) will determine how often these visits occur. The follow-up visits are usually every one to three months for at least five years. Some visits will include blood tests, and your Oncologist may also determine if you need other tests such as CT scans or x-rays. You are encouraged to call your Oncologist or nurse if you have questions or concerns before the next appointment. If you don't feel well, do not hesitate to call your Oncologist or nurse.
If you have any questions about developing a routine healthcare program, please ask your doctor or nurse. | ||
