Heart Care/Center For Vascular HealthWelcome to the Center for Vascular HealthHypertension. Diabetes. Cardiovascular health. These are just a few of the areas that the Center for Vascular Health at St. Vincent Charity Hospital is targeting through cardiovascular prevention risk reduction programs and research. How the Center for Vascular Health Can HelpThe Caregivers at the Center for Vascular Health are at the forefront of the latest vascular research, medications and treatments. In addition to conducting national studies, the team is prevention-focused and eager to work with your physician to provide specialized care that may be needed. During the first visit, the patient will meet with a physician, a specially-trained nurse and a dietitian. At follow-up visits, the results of the initial assessment will be discussed and an individualized treatment program will be recommended to help decrease the risk for cardiovascular disease. Recommendations may include weight loss, exercise, a low-fat and low-cholesterol diet, and medications. The goal of treatment is to help each patient better manage key risk factors for cardiovascular disease. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 216.363.2732. | ||
